Springdale invests in early-stage consumer brands, and I wanted to use this conversation to understand how the investing side of the industry actually works.
In this conversation, we walk through the entire lifecycle of a deal, from how a company first gets on their radar to the metrics they look at, how they evaluate founders, how they think about valuation, and what can ultimately cause them to pass.
